Homecoming1

Famous Pom!!!!

Homecoming

So little more than a week ago was homecoming and it reallly was cool. I`m actually not the person, who likes to party, and who goes to those everybody`s-going-you-have-to-go-too kind of events, but hanging out with friends and getting to know people you never met before was fun. I actually started liking rap music( what is definitely indispensable if you want to survive at waynesboro highschool ;D ). Can you teach me how to dougie????? ok, so after I had to listen to Lil Wayne, Usher, and Eminem. There was another "cultural-shock" waiting for me at the dance: GRINDING What the heck is this supposed to be???? Well I still don`t know and when I googled it I found a lot of....ahm let`s just say inappropriate pics but I guess that`s part of a teens life here. Let`s just take a closer look at Teen moms a tv-show showing the live of pregnant teenagers and how they handle it. What society would need a Tv-show showing moms in teen age handling their life if it wasn`t one with an enormously increasing birth rate? Guess that was a little to far from my actual topic.... Back to the dance.....before the dance we took pictures and I got to say they really turned out nice. We went to a Golf course and the sun was shining it was soo beautiful and everyone looked soo pretty!!!!!!!!!!! And after that to Chickpease a little resturant in downtown and after drawing on the table like little children :D and taking pictures of my famous pom we went to the dance....I love my friends...THE END

Introduction

So I`ve always wanted to go a year abroad and I`ve always wanted to be independent....but actually thinking of it and doing it are two different things. I realized that sometimes actions might be inevitable and sometimes the right way is the hardest. Still  reconsidering my decision of staying here in the Us with my aunt and uncle for one year I don`t know if this really was the right way. Almost 2 months...that`s 8 weeks....1344 hours are over now and I still can`t believe I "jumped" off my "princess-bed" and into this whole new world of lifestyle! You would probably think that I get homesick of everything I left behind, but staying here really made me think about what I actually miss...what is it that I actually left behind except...my home? Your home is where your heart beats and this might not be Germany. Going through this process of self-designation is the worst, but probably part of what I wanted and you get what you want!
After all I really start to accept my new life, I love the people here,  I love going to football games and seeing the cheerleaders while you are listening to the band and staring at the football players who are almost killing themselves by running and jumping on each other :D , I love eating real american ice cream, I love running around with jogging pants without everyone staring at you because you`re not wearing fashionable pants, I love the droning sound of the aircondition, I love the mountains, I love waiting for the schoolbus until you see a big and yellow thing passing your house and you notice that you missed it, I love coming home and seeing your cousin an already knowing how your room will look like, and I love doing something different! And I guess this doubt is just part of the plan ; P In conclusion: I LOVE WAYNESBORO
